Kira Kids Café was created by two best friends, Melody and Betty, who have been like family for over 15 years. Here at home they noticed the same thing everywhere they went: most play places were built for big kids, leaving younger children and their parents searching for somewhere that truly felt safe, cozy, and fun for everyone.

Not to mention the bigger spaces are just tiring chasing a toddler! On their travels overseas they noticed there were many spaces created just for little ones! Inspired to bring something similar home they dreamed up a space where little ones could play freely and joyfully, while grown-ups could finally sit back, sip a great cup of coffee, and breathe.
It wasn’t easy.

With lots of trials, late nights, and moments of doubt, Melody and Betty poured every bit of love, energy, and heart into building Kira Kids Café. Every detail was chosen with care—from the play structures to the seating—so that both kids and adults feel right at home the moment they walk through the door.


Melody, with her Business BA and years of retail experience, has a talent for creating spaces that feel welcoming and thoughtful. Betty, who also holds a Business BA and brings retail expertise, is a mom of two little ones herself—and knows exactly what families need to feel comfortable, safe, and happy.

Together, they’ve turned a dream into a community space where laughter, connection, and play come first.
